In weight category of 90 kg, Dilshod Choriyev beat Vincent Massimino from France, Alberto Arnal of Spain, Hirotaka Kato from Japan and lost to Varlam Liparteliani from Georgia in semifinals.

In the bronze medal bout, he defeated Alexandre Iddir of France.
