Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Fernando Morentes is one of the most famous players not only in Spanish, but also in world football. The player who once played for Real Madrid in Spain, Liverpool in England and Monaco in France is expected to visit Tashkent next month. An official meeting was held at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan today, where these and other issues were discussed.

Morris Paniello, president of the Spanish Racing Murcia club and head of Genova International school of football, is currently in Tashkent. Today the specialist was received by the Secretary General of the NOC Oybek Kasymov.

During the meeting, issues were discussed such as the arrival of Morientas in Tashkent on 13-16 February, during the visit to organize a press conference for fans and media representatives, as well as to cooperate in the formation of the Olympic football club, which will be preparing for the Paris-2024 Olympics.

At the meeting, which took place in a sincere atmosphere, Moris Paniello invited the Olympic team to the training camp in Spain, where he said that Leganes, Rayo Vallecano and Getafe are ready to help organize friendly matches with their youth team. Paniello also said that Uzbek footballers who have distinguished themselves by their talent, during friendly matches, have a chance to improve their qualifications as part of Spanish football clubs.

In turn, Oybek Kasymov expressed satisfaction with such cooperation and noted that the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan is ready to support these initiatives.
