During the meeting, the mission received information on current state and perspective of development of electronic government in Uzbekistan and introduction of information technologies in the sectors of economy, the Uzbek ministry said.

The mission was also briefed on introduction of electronic forms of interaction of the state bodies and business entities development of telecommunication infrastructure and development of training of ICT specialists.

The sides also considered opportunities of expansion of cooperation in electronic interaction between state bodies and business entities, optimize and improve state services within development of e-government.

The Uzbek ministry officials expressed interest in attraction of local software developers to investment projects, realized in Uzbekistan at the support of the World Bank.
