The mission’s aim is to exchange opinion on improving business environment of Uzbekistan, the press service of the committee said.

During the meeting, the guests familiarized with priority directions of the State Property Committee at current level of economic development of Uzbekistan, its role in development private sector in economy. The sides discussed a new programme on privatization for 2012-2013 and its role in increasing share of private sector in economy of the country.

The World Bank mission informed the Uzbek side about the aim of the visit, which is directed at assessing business environment and competition in Uzbekistan, as well as discuss opportunities of cooperation on improving business climate.
