World Amputees Cup to be held in Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- World Amputees Cup will be held in Kaliningrad, Russia, from 6 October to 15 October 2012, Russian edition Klops.ru said.

Japan should host the tournament, but earthquake and man-caused catastrophe did not allow the country to host it.

It is expected that teams from England, Argentina, Brazil, Gana, Iran, Liberia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Russia will attend the tournament.

Uzbekistan is currently World Amputee Champions.
