Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 June 2024, the director of the Uzaviation Agency Tahir Nazarov visited the Zomin airport, where work began on the reconstruction of the airfield.

The visit included an inspection of the progress of work, including laying asphalt on the runway, taxi ways and sites. Particular attention is paid to compliance with flight safety and aviation security requirements.

Based on the results of the inspection, appropriate recommendations were issued on compliance with the standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to ensure flight safety at this airfield.
