Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republic of Korea has appointed a new ambassador to Uzbekistan. Won Doyeon headed the diplomatic mission of South Korea in Tashkent.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov accepted copies of the credentials of the new Ambassador of South Korea Won Doyeon.

“Looking forward to the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol to our country. We focused on the preparations for the Presidential Summit, the implementation of joint projects, and creating new points of growth in traditionally close ties between our two nations,” said the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.

Bakhtiyor Saidov wished the ambassador success during his stay in Uzbekistan.
