On 1 March, partners, friends and active participants of the projects of Women’s Council gathered at Navruz restaurant to mark the occasion on the eve of the international women’s day, market on 8 March.

About 500 people, including women, who contribute to development of Uzbekistan, participants of projects of Fund Forum, Women’s Council Mehr Nuri, SISF, “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association and other partner organizations, members of diplomats’ spouses club, representatives of international organizations participated at the event.

An exhibition of traditional wedding costumes of the regions of Uzbekistan “Revival” was presented within the event. An exhibition of paintings “Character of women in modern painting of Uzbekistan” was also held within the event.

Another gift for participants was “sweet exhibition”, which presented traditional sweets and dishes of various countries and everyone had chance to taste them.

The participants congratulated Women’s Council with its anniversary. Local artists and children presented their songs and dances.

Organizers of the evening presented traditional oriental charms from GULI brand with the good wishes to all guests of the event.
