Wolf named as mascot for 2022 World Nomad Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The wolf has been recognized as the mascot of the forthcoming IV World Nomad Games. The image was presented by the organizers on the official pages in social networks. This was reported by the Anadola agency.

The competition will be held 29 September - 2 October in Iznik region in northwestern Turkey. More than 3,000 athletes from 102 countries are expected to participate.

The snow leopard was the symbol of the III World Nomad Games.

The World Nomad Games, the so-called analogue of the Olympics, were first held on the shores of Issyk-Kul in 2014.

Athletes from 19 countries took part in the first games: Azerbaijan, Austria, Afghanistan, Belarus, Brazil, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Mongolia, Russia, USA, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Sweden, South Korea.
