The competition is organized in Uzbekistan annually. This year, some 26 commercial banks, 846 branches and over 4,200 mini-banks and special cash desks participated at the contest this year.

The awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest was held on 7 February 2015 at the Uzbekistan Banking Association.

The competition is aimed at further stimulating and boosting activities of commercial banks on attracting free money resources of population to deposits at banks, strengthening resource base of banks for their further investment activities, as well as exchange of advance experience in attraction of population deposits.

Currently, commercial banks of Uzbekistan offer 250 types of national and foreign currencies without any limit on their size and term.

In 2014, the volume of population deposit in commercial banks grew by 30.86% year-on-year.
