Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the new Rules of the Road, a mandatory requirement for fastening seat belts is established for the driver and passenger sitting in the front seat.

At the same time, some sick citizens are allowed not to fasten a seat belt. 

It is reported that for passengers suffering from seven types of diseases, it is allowed not to fasten a seat belt without providing a medical certificate.

These include: patients with a fracture of the collarbone, chest, shoulder, obstructive pulmonary disease (at stage IV), bronchial asthma (at stage IV), interstitial lung disease (at stage III) and with decompensation of chronic heart failure, as well as pregnant women.

It should be noted that the new version of the Rules of the Road will come into force on 1 May 2022.
