Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An analysis of business activity by regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan is monthly calculated by the CERR based on operational data (monitoring for all regions of the republic, according to the State Customs Committee, State Tax Committee, Central Bank and UzEX).

The monitoring results showed that the volume of tax revenues of the republic in the period from 1 January to 31 October 2022 increased by 17.5% compared to the same period of last year.

At the same time, a significant increase in tax revenues was noted in Ferghana (by 35.1%), Samarkand (by 33.8%), Syrdarya (by 30.3%), Bukhara (by 30.3%), Jizzakh (by 29, 9%) regions, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (by 30.7%) and in the city of Tashkent (by 41.9%).

Analysis of the impact of taxes on the dynamics of revenues for 10 months of this year. shows that the greatest impact was made by the growth of value added tax (growth of revenues in the republic by 33%) and turnover tax (40%).

These changes are due to the given directions for improving tax administration and the introduction of new digital tools, such as: electronic invoice, online cash register, Cashback, E-ijara, Soliqchi kўmakchi, tax.gap, digital marking of goods, national catalog (tasnif.soliq.uz), etc.

At the same time, income from income tax paid by organizations has grown by 56% since the beginning of the year, supported by the growth of economic activity and improved profitability.

Revenues from customs payments for the analyzed period increased by 39.8% compared to the same period in 2021. The largest growth in customs revenues was observed in Andijan (by 63.1%), Jizzakh (by 51.0%), Syrdarya (by 48.1%), Ferghana (by 40.2%) regions, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (by 55, 9%) and Tashkent city (by 44.3%).

During the reporting period, 7 laws and 30 draft resolutions aimed at improving customs legislation were developed, 24 of which were submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers, and 9 have been adopted today.

The main factors that influenced the increase in revenue from customs duties were the growth of imports in January-September 2022 by 22.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Additionally, the operation of re-submission of documents by declarants was canceled and the information system "E-Archive" was introduced, aimed at the electronic collection of these documents, as well as the interactive service "E-Navbat", aimed at organizing and speeding up the passage of vehicles with export fruits and vegetables across the state border .

According to the State Customs Committee, the volume of exports of goods from the beginning of this year to 31 October increased by 17.7% compared to the same period of last year. A significant increase in exports was observed in Syrdarya (by 36.2%), Andijan (by 34.4%), Samarkand (by 28.3%), Navoi (by 28.2%), Namangan (by 25.9%) regions and in Tashkent city (by 28.0%).

The increase in Uzbekistan’s exports is due to the growing growth in exports of manufactured goods, foodstuffs, chemicals and agri-food products.

The reduction in exports occurred in Surkhandarya (by -14.5%), Jizzakh (by -2.3%), Bukhara (by -2.2%) regions and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (by -10.3%).

The decline in exports in Surkhandarya and Jizzakh regions is associated with a decrease in the export of fruits and vegetables (beans, tomatoes, mung bean, onions) and yarn, and in Bukhara region - the direction of cotton fiber to the domestic market. In the Republic of Karakalpakstan - a reduction in the export of plastics, pharmaceutical products and yarn.

The volume of loans issued by commercial banks in the period from 1 January to 31 October increased by 9.6% compared to the same period of last year.

A significant increase in the issuance of loans was noted in Ferghana (by 28.8%), Tashkent (by 24.2%), Samarkand (by 20.6%), Andijan (by 11.8%) regions, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (by 17, 6%) and Tashkent city (by 16.4%).

The volume of transactions on the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange for the analyzed period increased by 39.4%. A significant increase in exchange activity is observed in Khorezm (by 61.9%), Jizzakh (by 49.4%), Navoi (by 48.3%), Samarkand (by 46.5%) regions and in Tashkent (by 50 .2%).

Growth in the volume of transactions in these regions was ensured by an increase in the sale of such goods as mineral fertilizers, industrial seeds, motor gasoline, diesel fuel, construction and household materials, vegetable oil, wheat flour, wheat, sugar, cotton fiber, rolled ferrous and non-ferrous metals , polyethylene, polypropylene, ethyl alcohol, etc.

During the analyzed period, 76,481 new economic entities were created, the largest number of which was registered in Samarkand (8,859), Ferghana (7,409), Kashkadarya (7,122), Tashkent (5,808), Khorezm (4,967) regions and in the city of Tashkent. Tashkent (13,064).
