Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 16 February, a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Security of the Republic of Korea Ko Kyu Cheng, as part of its visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited a specialized school with in-depth study of computer science and information technology No. 30 in the city Urgench, Khorezm region.
The event was also attended by the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 21 August 2019 “On measures to further improve the quality of teaching foreign languages in educational institutions”, two classes were organized at this school for in-depth study of the Korean language, where on a test basis it was accepted for 60 students.
In addition, as part of the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 6 October 2020, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, a specialized school was organized on the basis of specialized school No. 30 in the city of Urgench with an in-depth study of computer science and information technology.
Currently, 140 students are studying in the specialized classes of the school in informatics and information technology in Uzbek and Russian, and 93 students are studying in special classes in the Korean language. This school has computer science and robotics classrooms, as well as a digital library. The auditoriums have been renovated in accordance with modern requirements and are equipped with the necessary computer and other equipment.
During the visit, a conversation was organized by the students of the school, presentations of developments were held. Foreign guests directly got acquainted with the activities of the school and highly appreciated the conditions created at the school for students.
