Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – WhatsApp has postponed its user agreement update due to the Facebook data-sharing scandal.
The company noted that users will now have time until 15 May to study all the provisions of this update. Personal conversations, as well as geolocation, will remain protected, they will not be seen either on WhatsApp or on Facebook, writes The Verge.
In accordance with the new agreement, users from 8 February had to accept the conditions under which Facebook will receive, in particular, data about the phone number, information about transactions, information about users’ mobile devices, etc. If the conditions are not accepted, the messenger asks to delete the account recording
