Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The draft strategy “Acholi Salomatliga – 2030” (Health of population -2030) was developed by the Ministry of Health and posted for public discussion.

The project contains priority tasks and new directions to be implemented until 2030 to improve the quality of medical services through the introduction of modern and effective management methods and financial mechanisms.

In the practical action plan for 2024-2026, more than 270 measures have been developed to ensure the implementation of the stated objectives, as well as the strategy’s effectiveness indicators, which must be achieved by 2030.

By 2030, to improve the quality of medical services through the introduction of modern and effective management methods and financial mechanisms, the following will be provided:

a new national medical care system that determines the sources of financing, forms and volumes of provision of medical services to lower (primary), secondary (secondary) and higher (tertiary) health care institutions;

determining the volume of guaranteed medical services, expanding the types of paid medical services;

gradual introduction of mechanisms for providing financial independence to public medical institutions, conducting their financial activities based on a business plan;

transfer of costs in inpatient medical institutions to state health insurance mechanisms through per capita financing for “each treated case”, etc.
