Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As you know, recently, according to the AIBA decision, professional boxers have a chance to participate in the Olympics and world championships. Only for this, the number of professional boxer fights should not exceed fifteen. From this point of view, we can confidently say that today professional and amateur boxing are inseparable concepts. It should be noted that at present, the national team of Uzbekistan consists of boxers who have already fought in professional boxing. Today we want to tell you about professional boxers of Uzbekistan and their positions in world rankings.

For information, there are four prestigious directions in professional boxing: WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, and Uzbek boxers perform in each of them.

The above organizations, based on their criteria, annually announce ratings. To be more precise, a boxer can lead in one ranking, but in the other - will be at the end, or may not enter at all. Now we will introduce you to the rating for July.

WBC

The difference between WBC and other organizations is that the ranking includes 40 boxers.

The July rating included 7 boxers of Uzbekistan.

In the first lightest (-48.9) Khasanboy Dusmatov took 31 place. In the first welterweight (-63, 50) Shokhjahon Ergashev is in 32nd place. Another of our representatives in this category, Anvar Turopov, is in 40th place. Welterweight Kudratillo Abdukakhhorov (-66, 67 kg) climbed to sixth from eighth.

In the first middle weight category (-69.8 kg), the holder of the WBA Intercontinental champion belt, Isroil Madrimov, is on the 26th place. In the second middle weight category, Azizbek Abdugafurov (-76.2 kg) remained in second place. We remind you that Azizbek is currently the owner of the WBC Silver belt. Bektemir Melikuziev, who took 38th place, is also present in this category.

WBA

The rating contains 6 boxers of Uzbekistan.

In the second lightweight champion, Murodjon Akhmadaliev (-55.3 kg) leads the list. Also, Akhmadaliev is considered the champion in the direction of IBF. In the first welterweight (-63.5 kg), two of our boxers switched places. Shahram Giyasov from seventh place rose to sixth. And Shokhjahon Ergashev from sixth place went down to seventh.

In the first middle weight (-69.85 kg), Isroil Madrimov became the second.

In the second middle weight, our boxer Bektemir Melikuziev (-76.2 kg) remained in 15th place. Light heavyweight (-79.3 kg) Rustam Tulyaganov retained his place in the TOP-15. He is in 15th place. In this division, Dmitry Bivol from Russia is considered to be the owner of the most prestigious belt.

IBF

The rating is headed by Murodjon Akhmadaliev - the second lightweight category (-55.3 kg), he is also the champion in the WBA direction.

In the first welterweight category (-63.5 kg), Shokhjahon Ergashev remained in sixth place. The championship belt in this category belongs to Josh Taylor.

In the welterweight category (-66.6 kg), Kudratillo Abdukaharov, as before, takes 1st place. In this category, he is considered the main contender for the belt. Currently IBF Belt belongs to Errol Spence.

WBO

Due to the pandemic, the organization did not announce a new rating. The last time the WBO rating was presented in March this year. The list includes two Uzbek boxers.

According to the rating, in the flyweight category (-50.8 kg) Olimjon Nazarov took 8th place. There is no WBO belt holder in this weight category yet.

Shokhjahon Ergashev became 11th in the first welterweight category (-63.5 kg). In this list, the champion belt belongs to Jose Carlos Ramirez from the USA.
