The decision was adopted for further strengthening educational and sport base of the Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT).
The resolution of the government said that administrative-educational building and new sport hall will be constructed in place of destroyed buildings of Metrofanova pool and Foton plant in Tashkent. Information-resource center will be expanded due to reconstruction and re-equipment of current sport hall of the university.
The document said that the WIUT will receive new sport hall with mini-football, basketball, volleyball and badminton fields, as well as training hall in March 2013.
Administrative-educational corpus, which will be equipped with ICT, educational equipment and necessary furniture will be constructed in the second stage. The building will be commissioned in September 2013.
By September 2013, it is also planned to expand information-resource center due to reconstruction and re-equipment of current sport hall.
The Government also provided various tax and customs preferences to participants of the project.
