In the weightlifting competitions in the weight category of 105 kg Ruslan Nurudinov lifted 190 kg in snatch and set new record of the Student Games.

In clean and jerk, Uzbek athlete lifted 222 kg and won the gold medal of the games. He also updated the record of the Universiade in total – 412 kg.

Nurudinov won the 17th medal of Uzbekistan at the Games. Currently, athletes of Uzbekistan clinched two gold, seven silver and eight bronze medals of the Universiade-2013.
