Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Tashkent from 24 September to 5 October holds "Korea Week 2021" in order to expand the cultural and spiritual interests of the peoples of the two countries and strengthen cooperation between our countries."

Given the current situation caused by COVID-19, these events within the framework of "Korea Week 2021", introducing the Republic of Korea in a simpler way, will, if possible, be conducted with limited personal contacts and crowds, as well as in compliance with the established quarantine rules.

The holding of the Korea Week 2021 events will bring South Korean-Uzbek relations to an even higher level and will serve to expand practical cooperation between our countries on the eve of celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year.

Schedule of upcoming events:

On 24 September, 11:00 AM - 2021 Korean Food Cooking Competition.

Venue: open area of the Lotte city hotel.

On 25 September 18:00 - K-pop party. In the program: a dance party with the participation of Uzbek lovers of Korean culture and K-pop'a.

On 26 September, 2:00 pm - Quiz on Korea.

On 28-30 September - Korea Travel Photo Exhibition. Spectators will see photographs of the landscapes of Korea and Uzbekistan.

On 28-30 September - Exhibition of works by the artist-representative of the Korean diaspora Shin Iskra in honor of her 70th anniversary.

On 1 October, 19:00 - Concert of Korean traditional music "Gugak" and magician-illusionist show.

Venue: amphitheater of the Magic city park.

On 2 October, 16:00, 19:00 - Concert of Korean traditional music "Gugak" and magician-illusionist show.

On 3-5 October, 19:00 - Korean Film Festival. The program includes screening of films "Detective K", "Physiognomy, Reading with a Face", as well as "Little Forest".
