“We are one team, we are one family” wraps up national tour
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wide-scale youth campaign “We are one team, we are one family”, which has been held since 2007 and attracts youth from all regions of Uzbekistan, visited all regions of Uzbekistan with over 10 educational and cultural events.

From 27 March to 18 April, active youth from all regions participated at the campaign. The route of the campaign passed over 5,000 km and visited Gulistan, Jizzakh, Navoi, Urgench, Nukus, Bukhara, Termez, Qarshi, Samarqand, Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana. The event was organized by Fund Forum, Center for youth initiative “Kelajak Ovozi” at the support of regional administrations and “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association.

Over 238,878 people participated at seminar and trainings on journalism, information technologies, foreign languages, presentations and discussions of Dilemma Discussion Club, castings for Forum TV and NNT, business trainings, regional qualification campaign of Uzbekistan CyberGames, Susan G. Komen Uzbekistan Race for the Cure and charity football matches, Kelajak Ovozi gala-concert, etc.

The organizers said that 1,400 people attended presentations of Dilemma Discussion Club and 5,500 PR campaign of Kelajak Ovozi contest, about 1,000 people attended trainings of Kelajak Lingo and Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi”.

About 760 young businesses participated at trainings on doing business and held talks with representatives of commercial banks within the School for young entrepreneurs, the organizers said.

About 780 young journalists participated the trainings on internet journalists and familiarized with latest trends in the area. Over 590 people attended casting on TV journalism and soon can work at TV stations.

Uzbekistan Cyber Games were attended by 525 gamers across Uzbekistan and 36 winners were awarded with prizes and certificates. They also received chance to participate in final of Uzbekistan Cyber Games in Tashkent.

IT- School also attracted interest of the youth as over 730 boys and girls visited its work. IT school has been conducted since 2011 and already it started to give its fruits as national browser, KO-messenger and others products were developed.

Over 59,000 people participated at the Race for the Cure and 163,000 people attended the charity football matches.
