Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala.

The parties discussed the possibilities of deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, and also discussed issues related to the regional and global agenda.

“Today, Central Asia is becoming increasingly interconnected, working together for shared prosperity and increasing its attractiveness on the international stage. We appreciate the support of our collective efforts in the region to establish reliable ties at the global level,” the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan emphasized.
