Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan, together with the Mastercard, held a forum on cybersecurity and combating fraud in the payment card industry.

The forum was attended by cybersecurity and card business specialists of commercial banks. The forum discussed the main schemes and risks of social engineering associated with payment cards, as well as solutions and methods for preventing fraud.

During the forum, representatives of Mastercard presented information on methods and schemes of fraud in the payment card industry, types of fraud associated with social engineering, acquiring risks and their mitigation.

The basic requirements and approaches to organizing work with trade and service organizations and service providers have been clarified. Forum participants received answers to their questions from experts.
