Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Samarkand Suv Ta’minoti enterprise reported that in some large residential areas in Samarkand, from 8 June, an hourly schedule of water supply will operate.

Residents will receive drinking water from 6:00 to 10:00 in the morning and from 18:00 to 22:00 in the evening. At the specified time, water will be supplied to the areas connected to water supply through pumping stations 3 and 4 - the Sattepo massif, Microdistrict “A” and “B”, Buyuk Ipak Yuli, S. Bukhoriy and Amir Temur.

According to the report, the restriction is introduced due to the lack of groundwater reserves for the normal operation of pumping equipment at the facilities. How long water will be supplied according to the specified schedule is not specified.
