The reports of the US and the U.K. newspapers covered current state of economic and political life in Uzbekistan and investment climate in the country, the agency said.

The Uzbek agency said quoting newspapers that the economy of Uzbekistan grew by 45% in past three years. The newspapers said Uzbekistan offers great investment opportunities in industrial, agriculture, mining, information-communication technologies and real estate sectors.

The papers noted that Uzbekistan fully satisfies itself with energy and is one of the world leaders in production of cotton and gold. The country exports its products to 97 countries of the world.
