According to the Russian financial regulator, the volume of remittances from Russia to Uzbekistan in January-March 2017 reached US$377 million. The growth rate made up 47.1% compared to January-March 2016.
At the same time, about US$17 million of remitteances were transferred from Uzbekistan to Russia in the first quarter of 2017, which is 37% less than in the same period in 2016.
The size of one transaction from Russia to Uzbekistan in the reporting period increased from US$335 to US$398 and from Uzbekistan to Russia fell from US$1251 to US$658.
