The volume of remittances from Russia to Uzbekistan comprised US$383 million in the reporting period, while average sum per transaction was US$500, the bank said.
According to the Russian bank, the volume of money transfers from Uzbekistan to Russia reached US$46 million and average sum per transaction – US$1,192.
Uzbekistan leads on the volume of transactions among the CIS states. Tajikistan and Ukraine followed Uzbekistan. Tajikistan and Ukraine received remittances for US$319 million each in the reporting period.
The Central Bank of Russia monitors such money transfer systems as Anelik, BLIZKO, Coinstar Money Transfer, Contact, InterExpress, Migom, MoneyGram, PrivatMoney, UNIStream, Western Union, AziyaExpress, ALLYUR, Blitz, Bystraya Pochta, Zolotaya Korona and LIDER, as well as Pochta Rossii.
