Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Due to restrictions on the operation of gas stations (gas compressor stations) in some regions caused by cold air flows, it was reported that the volume of automotive gasoline offered for exchange trading was temporarily increased twofold. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.
Until 6 December 2024, the volume of AI-80 automotive gasoline offered at the exchange was 2,000 tons, but starting from December 10, this volume was increased by an average of four times, now reaching 8,000 tons.
Additionally, the volume of AI-92 automotive gasoline sales at the exchange was also increased and now amounts to 4,000 tons per day.
On 13 December 2024, another 8,000 tons of AI-80 automotive gasoline were offered at the exchange, of which 7,780 tons were purchased by buyers.
Given the supply and demand, there is potential for further increases in the volume of automotive gasoline offered for exchange trading.
