Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 November, within the framework of the visit of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) delegation headed by Executive Director Alfred Hannig, meetings with the management and experts of the regulator were held at the Central Bank.

During the meeting, issues of financial development were discussed accessibility, improving financial literacy and ensuring an effective system of protecting the rights of consumers of financial services.

An agreement was reached to expand the Central Bank’s interaction with the AFD through the exchange of experience with the Alliance member countries and the attraction of technical assistance.

The AFD Executive Director also made a presentation at the Corporate Center for Retraining Banking Specialists on the topic of “Financial Accessibility: Evolution and Modern Challenges” for young bank specialists and students of a number of universities of the country, including the Tashkent Financial Institute, TSEU, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, etc.
