Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the III Tashkent International Investment Forum taking place in the capital, Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov held a meeting with the head of Vision Invest (Saudi Arabia) Omar al-Midani.

At the meeting, issues of implementing transport infrastructure projects on the basis of PPP and cooperation in this direction were discussed. Vision Invest has expressed interest in reconstructing Andijan International Airport on a public-private partnership basis and in the future managing it.

As a result of the negotiations, a preliminary agreement was signed that the investor would conduct research and prepare project proposals within six months.
