Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Functioning as a professional social network, the platform will bring together entrepreneurs and women leaders from Uzbekistan and the entire region of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus and provide them with tools for networking, exchange of experience and expansion business at the international level.
Visa announced the launch of the She’s Next digital community platform for women entrepreneurs from Eastern and South Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus, created in partnership with Emerging Europe, an authoritative business and community development platform focused on the region.
The purpose of the platform is to bring together entrepreneurs from different countries and create opportunities for networking, exchange of experience and business expansion at the international level.
“The She’s Next Empowered by Visa initiative aims not only to empower women, but also to create a community of ambitious like-minded women,” commented Vera Platonova, Senior Vice President, Regional Director of Visa in 17 countries. — While holding international events dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship, we noticed an interesting detail: participants in previous She’s Next projects from different countries easily find a common language based on the same interests and values. A 2022 survey of business owners from Eastern and South Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus, conducted by Visa in partnership with Emerging Europe, showed that 85% of respondents are ready to join the international community of entrepreneurs. That’s why we created it so that women can share best practices, learn from each other and grow as leaders. I am convinced that the She’s Next digital community platform will be a real breakthrough for all entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan and the entire region.”
The site hosting the platform contains a variety of content and is accessible to everyone. Women can learn more about leadership, other entrepreneurs, find inspiration and gain useful skills. Also added to the web page is useful content created in collaboration with Emerging Europe: podcasts, interviews, author columns with practical advice from experts from different industries, etc.
The digital community platform, the part of the site available only to registered users, includes all the functions of a professional social network (news feed, interest groups, tools for creating publications and messaging). It will allow women leaders and entrepreneurs to connect, find business contacts, mentors, suppliers or investors, and develop a personal brand.
“During the many in-depth interviews we conducted as part of the study, entrepreneurs and startup founders spoke about the importance of sharing knowledge and, more importantly, learning about how other women solved various problems. Thus, the platform is not only for mutual learning. It will also provide opportunities for mentoring, building international connections, and seeking funding and assistance from business support organizations. And all this thanks to one convenient and affordable tool,” said Andrew Vrubel, Founding Partner of Emerging Europe.
The digital community platform She’s Next will provide users with the opportunity to:
- fill out a detailed questionnaire during registration, indicating your country and countries of interest, professional industry, purpose of being on the platform, in order to continue receiving targeted assistance from the community manager;

-find mentors on their own request and become mentors, having a desire to share knowledge and experience;
