Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In an effort to increase tourist traffic to remote areas and create favorable conditions for service delivery, the tourist potential of the village of Nanai, located in the Yangikurgan District of the Namangan Region, has been assessed.
In recent years, Namangan has developed the village of Nanai to boost tourism and create new tourist destinations. This includes the establishment of hotels, hostels, and family guesthouses, as well as dining establishments specializing in national cuisine to enhance the region’s gastronomic offerings.
Nanai is considered a village with significant tourist potential. It is notable within the country’s domestic tourism sector, offering more than 200 guesthouses, 2 recreational areas, numerous dining establishments serving national dishes, and 3 campgrounds.
The commission’s research confirmed that Nanai meets all the criteria for designation as a "Tourist Village." Following the positive assessment, the commission provided recommendations for further infrastructure improvements to enhance the village’s tourism infrastructure.
