Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 December 2024, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with the founder of Vietnam’s ROX Group, Tuan Chan.
Established in 1996, ROX Group operates in real estate, technology, hospitality, and financial services. In 2023, the company reported revenues of US$2.4 billion and employed over 2,000 people. It has been actively expanding its presence in international markets, including Europe.
During the meeting, Tuan Chan praised Uzbekistan’s favorable business environment and the efficiency of its system for developing ready-to-implement projects in priority sectors, which enhances the country’s appeal to foreign investors. He emphasized that the openness of Uzbekistan’s market enabled the company to explore various project proposals and identify suitable investment opportunities.
ROX Group expressed interest in undertaking housing construction projects and developing recreational tourism in Uzbekistan’s regions, leveraging its expertise and innovative solutions.
The Ministry assured its full support to the Vietnamese company at all stages of project implementation and expressed confidence that collaboration with ROX Group would contribute significantly to the growth of Uzbekistan’s construction and tourism sectors.
The meeting concluded with the establishment of further steps for cooperation and the appointment of an investment manager to provide continuous support to ROX Group throughout the project implementation process.
