Vietnam-Uzbekistan visa exemption to take effect

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Vietnamese and Uzbekistani citizens holding valid diplomatic passports and needing entry, exit and transit in the other’s territory will be exempt from visas, VOV News reported.

This was followed an agreement signed by the two governments, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular Department.

Under the agreement, which will take effect on 4 June, citizens from one of the two countries holding valid diplomatic passports will be allowed to stay in the other country within 60 days.
