Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Acting Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism Abdulaziz Akkulov met with Mayor of Nagoya (Japan) Takashi Kawamura.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of signing a cooperation agreement between the Tashkent Tourism Department and the Nagoya Tourism Department.
Following the meeting, a delegation is scheduled to head the Nagoya mayor to Uzbekistan on 11-15 December. During the event, the Japanese side was informed about the reforms carried out in the field of tourism in Uzbekistan.
The parties agreed to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, which includes the placement of propaganda videos and photographs in public places in Nagoya during 2020.
In particular, on the monitors Central Park Nagoya already show tourist videos that reflect the sights of Uzbekistan.
In addition, an agreement was concluded that a brand of Uzbekistan will be placed in one of Nagoya’s public transports.
Also, videos on the tourist potential of Uzbekistan will be shown on one of the busiest streets of the city - at the entrance of the Central Railway Station.
