Videos on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan are shown in Riga

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In the largest hockey structure in the Baltic States, Arena Riga, the home stadium of Dynamo team (Riga) of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), videos about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan began to be shown.

This action is carried out according to the agreement reached between the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia and the management of the Arena Riga sports and concert complex.

Videos about the sights of Uzbekistan and international recognition of the country’s achievements in tourism are shown in the main cube of the arena, on numerous screens installed in the halls, lodges for VIP guests and food courts.

By agreement, the show will go on during all Dynamo Riga club home games remaining until the end of the season at the end of February. Matches with the participation of the KHL teams, along with the countries of the CIS, Europe and Asia, are also broadcast to the United States and Canada (a total of more than 30 countries).

Despite the modest results this season, Dynamo (Riga) is a favorite of the local public, so the arena occupancy rate is not inferior to sports complexes of other KHL teams. In particular, in the season of 2018/2019, the Dynamo Riga took second place in Moscow after CSKA in terms of increased attendance at the KHL teams.

In 2021, along with the hockey stadiums of Belarus, Arena Riga will host matches of the World Hockey Championship.

It should be noted that Arena Riga is the largest multifunctional sports and concert complex in the Baltic States, built in 2006. The total area of the arena is 22,568 square meters, capacity - up to 10,300 fans during hockey matches, and 14,500 people during concert events.
