Shurtan warmed up for their AFC Cup game against Syria’s Al Ittihad with a 2-0 victory over Dynamo in the Uzbekistan League on Friday.
Vadim Afonin and Shahboz Erkinov were on target for the AFC Cup Group B hopefuls before they travel to Aleppo.
AFC Cup Group A leaders Nasaf were held 1-1 by Bukhara away to temporary lead the table with 17 points, a point more than AFC Champions League outfits Bunyodkor and Pakhtakor who both have a match in hand.
Roman Romanchuk’s 77th-minute opener for Bukhara was cancelled out by Ilhom Yunusov five minutes later.
Nasaf will host India’s Dempo Sports Club on April 27 in their fourth AFC Cup game. They are leading the table with nine points, three more than Lebanon’s Al Ansar.
