Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 August 2020, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 489 “On improving tax administration of value added tax and foreign legal entities” was adopted. This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Committee.

This Resolution approved 6 Regulations on improving tax administration.

According to them, the issue of reimbursing the amount of value added tax and making a decision on reimbursement (refund) of this amount is considered in state tax departments at the place of registration of the taxpayer, and for large taxpayers - in the Interregional State Tax Inspectorate for Large Taxpayers.

An expedited procedure for tax refund has been introduced. The refund of the tax amount under the general procedure is carried out no later than 60 days from the date of submission of the application, with the accelerated procedure - no later than 7 days.

At the same time, the procedure for reimbursement (refund) of the tax amount of the parties to production sharing agreements is indicated.

Also by this resolution:

The Regulation "On the form of invoices and the procedure for filling them out" was approved, according to which the procedure and features of filling out invoices for the sale of goods (services) were established;

Provisions were approved on the forms of notifications on participation in foreign companies and on controlled foreign companies, the procedure for filling and submitting them.
