Vadim Menkov also received this award and cup in 2009 after successful spell in World Cup stages and World Championship. In 2009, Menkov became the World Championship for the first time.

This year, Vadim Menkov continued successful performance. He won twice World Cup stages and claimed silver medal in another stage. In Poland, he defended his World Championship title.

Currently, Vadim Menkov as long as Uzbekistan canoe team are training in Tashkent as part of preparation to Asian Games in China.
