Uzum Market responds to reports of counterfeit products being sold
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzum Market has issued an official statement in response to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan’s report identifying over 200 counterfeit items on the marketplace platform.
In the statement, Uzum Market emphasized its commitment to legal trade and prioritizing the protection of customer interests. The platform has implemented several measures aimed at preventing the appearance of counterfeit goods, including a “Original” badge system that marks verified products.
For more than 200 popular brands, mandatory seller authorization has been introduced — products can only be listed after verification and submission of supporting documents.
