Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Uztextileprom Association is currently visiting the People’s Republic of China.

As part of the trip, a series of mutually beneficial negotiations are taking place. Notably, a roundtable discussion was held with representatives of the Keqiao city administration, including Deputy Mayor of Shaoxing Yuan Xiaowen, Director of the Shaoxing Economic Zone Zhou Xuefeng, Head of China Textile City Pan Jianhua, and executives from China Textile Group.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for deepening cooperation between manufacturers in Shaoxing and Uzbek textile enterprises. Particular attention was given to integration efforts, the creation of a unified trade platform leveraging Chinese experience, and the establishment of joint production ventures in Uzbekistan.

Following the talks, both sides agreed to establish a working group to promote collaboration between the Keqiao administration and Uztextileprom. One of the key priorities will be organizing direct raw material supplies to Uzbekistan in order to reduce the cost of finished textile products.
