Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 March, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of Uztemiryulcontainer A.S. Kamalov and commercial director of the Chinese company Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Co. Ltd Nancy Tang.

Nancy Tang highly appreciated the favorable conditions created by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Chinese companies and announced plans to invest about US$10-15 million in the construction of a transport and logistics center in Uzbekistan.

Detailed information about the Chinese company Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Co. Ltd was presented. Founded in 2002, the company owns its own logistics centers in more than 10 provinces of China, as well as in Europe, Central Asia and Singapore. In 2023, it launched about 100 container trains on the China-Europe and China-Central Asia routes from Xi’an, Chengdu and Shenzhen provinces. The company specializes in multimodal transportation and owns 25,000 containers.

At the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed, including the joint use of logistics centers of Uztemiryulcontainer JSC, the creation of new logistics centers, the development of distribution services and the joint use of wagons and containers. In particular, proposals were put forward to create modern A+ category warehouses in Uzbekistan to provide distribution services.

Issues of cooperation on container transportation from the provinces of Xi’an, Chengdu and Shenzhen along the multimodal route "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" and along existing transport corridors to Turkey and European countries were also discussed.
