Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An important meeting was recently held between the Uztekstilprom Association and representatives of Xiamen ITG, at which key areas of cooperation and development of the textile industry in Uzbekistan were discussed. The negotiations took place in a constructive atmosphere and touched on several strategic issues.

The main topics of the meeting were the creation of a textile warehouse to organize a distribution center for polyester and other types of raw materials, discussion of spinning mills put up for sale, expansion of trade operations for the purchase of textile products in Uzbekistan with the attraction of financing from Chinese banks, assistance in attracting Chinese textile companies to create joint projects in textile industrial zones of Uzbekistan and drawing up a program for the stay of Xiamen ITG representatives in Uzbekistan.

This meeting was an important step towards strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the textile industry. The negotiations laid a solid foundation for joint projects aimed at the innovative development and prosperity of the textile industry of both countries.
