In line with the agreement, the sides will interact in harmonization of national standards based on European and international requirements.

The agreement will lay a foundation for development of cooperation in this sphere and lift trade-economic relations to new level.

The document was inked within the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Germany. The delegation included representatives of Cabinet of Minister, Legislative Chamber, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, the UzStandard agency.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation visited Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology, Western Committee of Germany Economy, Germany Accreditation Body and other German organizations.
