The Uzbek delegation familiarized with the activities of AENOR and the sides discussed issues of cooperation in standardization and certification of products, quality management system, imported and exported goods, etc.

In line with the programme of the visit, Uzstandard and AENOR signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The memorandum is directed at abolishing barriers in trade through harmonization of standards, methods of tests and assessment of goods.

AENOR is private, independent and non-commercial organization, which was acknowledged as national body on standardization and certification by the Spain government. The body has branches in Mexico, Chile, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Peru, Poland, etc.
