Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the first half of 2023, UzRCE continued to actively develop, strengthen its role in the financial sector of Uzbekistan and ensure the transparency and efficiency of its markets.
As a result, the trading volumes on UZRCE increased significantly. The exchange observed a steady increase in the activity of market participants, which indicates confidence in the exchange and further strengthening of its position.
Thus, in January-June 2023, the trading volume on the UzRCE amounted to 495.41 trillion soums, which is almost 64% higher than the same indicator of last year.
The share of markets in the total trading volume is as follows:
44.27% is occupied by the foreign exchange market;
47.95% money market;
7.78% debt market.
For half a year we have been actively working on the development of cooperation with foreign partners. In the future, this will open up new opportunities for attracting a greater flow of foreign investment to the UzRCE markets.
