In 2012, the enterprises of Uzqurilishmateriallari produced industrial goods for 1.506 trillion soums and consumer goods for 157.6 billion soums.

UzA reported that they exported goods for US$64.1 million in 2012. Uzbekistan also produced 6.8 million tonnes of cement. The construction materials enterprises increased production of roofing slates, construction glass and gypsum, ceramic tiles, dry construction mixtures, etc.

In line with investment programme for 2012, Uzqurilishmateriallari completed seven projects, of which six were implemented due to foreign investments for US$11.73 million.

Bekabadcement and Ahangarancement carried out modernization and re-equipment of their capacities in 2012. Both companies purchased new equipment and reconstructed infrastructure.

Green line profil, Knauf Gips Bukhara, National plast also continued reconstruction works. Silk Road Ceramic launched capacities on production of soft roofing materials in Tashkent region. The enterprise will produce 5 million square meters of soft roofing materials a year. BML Group launched production of facing and sandwich panels with the capacity of 1 million square meters a year.

Uzqurilishmateriallari said that it produced 24 types of localized construction materials for 91.71 billion soums in 2012.

In 2013, Uzqurilishmateriallari plans to increase capacities on production of ceramic tiles up to 8.35 million square meters.
