A comprehensive check of the information security of payment cards and customer data was carried out by the international company Compliance Control (Russian Federation), which has the status of Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and has many years of experience in ensuring information security of payment solutions.

The presentation of the PCI DSS certificate as a result of an independent external audit is proof of the appropriate level of information protection measures implemented in one of the main services of the bank’s interaction with customers - the OTP Smart Internet banking system and compliance with the requirements imposed by the international payment systems VISA, Mastercard and others for the processing of data holders payment cards.

For the bank’s clients, this is an additional confirmation of the seriousness of the efforts made by the bank to ensure an appropriate level of information security of card data, evidence of the priority of these tasks for the management.

PCI DSS is a special complex standard that contains 12 sections with requirements for information and physical security of a bank and is the same for banks all over the world. It has been approved and implemented by international payment systems Visa International, MasterCard Worldwide, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club in order to reduce the risks of information leakage about payment cards and reduce possible losses for all market participants.
