Uzpromstroybank issues loans for 1.12 trln. soums to small businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint stock commercial bank Uzpromstroybank issued loans for 1.122 trillion soums to small businesses in 2016, which grew by 1.3 times year-on-year.

According to the Uzbek bank, some 3,860 small businesses received the loan in 2016.

At the same time, 2,952 enterprises receives micro loans for 112 billion soums, which rose by 31% year-on-year.

The loans helped to create 9,850 new jobs, the press service of the Uzbek bank said.
