Uzpromstroybank hosts a meeting with the delegation of the Turkish University Maltepe

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 October, at Uzpromstroybank, Chairman of the Board of JSCB Uzpromstroybank - Chairman of the Council for the Development of the Building Materials Industry Sakhi Annaklichev met with members of the delegation of Maltepe University (Turkey) headed by its rector, doctor Shahin Karasar.

During the meeting, the Turkish guests highly appreciated the work carried out in our country under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in reforming the education sector. It was noted that the expansion of cooperation in this direction with foreign higher educational institutions creates not only ample opportunities for Uzbek youth, but also serves the development of the economy, including small and medium-sized businesses.

It was emphasized that in the light of the implementation of large-scale work to raise the production of building materials to a new level in our country, special attention is paid to science and knowledge. In this direction, the tasks defined in the Decree of the head of our state of 9 June "On additional measures to increase the industrial potential of the regions" are of great importance.

In particular, within the framework of the execution of this decree, on 21 August 2021, a memorandum was signed between Uzpromstroybank and Maltepe University on the opening of a branch of this university in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, Turkish specialists were provided with information about the work carried out in our country to develop the production of building materials, in particular, to train highly qualified personnel for the industry. In turn, the guests, giving a high assessment to the possibilities of the sphere in Uzbekistan, expressed their readiness to share their scientific achievements and modern knowledge with the youth of our country and all interested parties.

It should be noted that Turkey is one of the largest producers of chemical additives and new generation of filling substances used in the production of high-quality concrete and reinforced concrete, and within the educational programs of Maltepe University, relevant specialists are being trained.

Maltepe University is a private higher educational institution, established in 1997 in the city of Istanbul Turkey by the Istanbul Education Fund. Currently, this university trains specialists in all areas of education.
