Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to support business initiatives in the Republic of Uzbekistan and expand financing opportunities for promising investment projects and small business projects, as well as successfully implementing the strategic development processes of the bank, Uzpromstroybank expands relations with leading financial institutions Russia.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin paid a visit to Uzbekistan, within the framework of this state visit, the Uzpromstroybank JSC and Gazprombank JSC signed a cooperation agreement.

This document is significant in that it will serve to establish multilateral cooperation between one of the major financial institutions of the Russian Federation - Gazprombank and Uzpromstroybank.

The Agreement also envisages financing of investment projects in the amount of US$50 million in such important areas as transport, agriculture, the textile industry, and construction.

The agreement will also include cooperation in the field of trade finance, capital markets, securities transactions, issuance and placement of Eurobonds. In this regard, it should be particularly noted that the issue is scheduled not only in the territory of the Russian Federation, but also in trading floors of other foreign countries.

It is planned to conduct training workshops with Gazprombank aimed at raising the qualifications of bank employees, which will allow further acceleration of the transformation processes carried out by Uzpromstroybank.
